The 5th of November and weekend in Oban

A group of us went round to Davids for a wee party on the roof and watched the Glasgow green fireworks from there.
Have to include one picture of the fireworks
This crazy guy was rinsed … and fighting with his reflection in car windows after managing to stand up again.
That was the end of the fireworks.
Taken from on the number 9 when I was heading over to my folks place. Wish that I’d had a wider lens with me but I still like it.
A very tasty french fancy from Bradfords Bakery. Then after this it was up to Oban for the weekend with David where we went to see Idlewild.

The Box Project

Got given a project for college to photograph a box so here is my interpratation of the brief.
I then decided, I didn’t want to see the box in the next set of images. I instead used it to light them.
Thats all for now. Off to Oban and Fort William for the weekend, should be a good one. Hopefully post more soon.

College work and the countryside

My latest college project was to shoot 5 portraits in 5 days which I really enjoyed doing. Borrowed the 5d mark 2 from college for the october week, and it’s made me really want one now.
Day 1: My brother Jeff
Day 2: My mum
Day 3: Stewart and a very tasty cup cake
Day 4: Sam
Day 5: Me in my mums car. After this I went to visit my sister who lives out in the countryside near Newton Stewart.
The view from the b&b was pretty nice, apart from the overhead cables.
The first thing we done was go on a trail around glentrool.
My youngest niece watching some flying grass
Took some polaroids, it’s really nice to have film again.
My eldest niece Karla. Then after this it was off too the beach!
My nephew Stephen at the beach. Then after this it was back home to drizzle.

Just a wee post of a college project. Didn’t work out quite as I had planned but ah well. Think it could develop into something different. Going to pick up my Alton Towers pictures today, very exciting!
